House Blend: the everyday bag, done right

A medium roast built to taste the same in a drip machine, a French press, or a pour-over. Smooth, steady, no surprises. 12 oz bags, whole bean or ground.

Clear Roast House Blend label design

A house blend is a roaster's signature mix: two or more coffee lots combined so the cup tastes consistent bag after bag. Our house blend is a medium roast, which means it's developed enough for chocolate and caramel notes without the smoky edge of a dark roast. It's the bag for people who drink coffee every morning and want it to taste the same on Monday as it did on Saturday.

What it tastes like

Smooth up front, mild sweetness in the middle, clean finish. It's designed to be forgiving: slightly under-extract and it still tastes fine; grind a little off and it still tastes fine. That's the point of a house blend.

How to brew it

Any brewer works — drip machine, French press, pour-over, even a basic percolator. If you buy it ground, choose your brewer's grind: medium for drip, coarse for French press. Whole bean stays fresh longer if you grind right before brewing.
