How this store works

Three lines, one roaster, zero warehouse. Here's the whole operation in plain terms.

Clear Roast Coffee is a small coffee store run by ClearCost Wellness (operated by Dataweave Inc). We sell three coffee lines under our own label: a House Blend, a rotating Single Origin, and an Espresso roast. Every bag will be roasted to order in California by our roasting partner (application in manual review) — the coffee is roasted after you place your order, then labeled and shipped to you. We design every label in-house.

The timeline, step by step

  • You order. You pick a line, whole bean or ground, and check out.
  • The roaster roasts it. Once approved, our California roasting partner roasts your bag. Your coffee is roasted because you ordered it — not pulled from a pallet.
  • Our label goes on the bag. We supply the finished label design; TCR prints it and applies it to every bag. The bag carries our name, the line, the roast level, the weight, and an FDA-compliant ingredient line.
  • It ships to you. The bag goes out to your address after roasting. Ship times are confirmed at launch from the roaster's fulfillment system — we won't quote times we can't verify.

Why this model

Coffee starts losing its best flavors within days of roasting, so the plan is to roast each bag only after it is ordered and ship it directly. The tradeoff: we can't promise same-day shipping, because your coffee won't exist yet when you order. That's the deal, and it will be printed on the label.

Why our label is on the bag

We sell under our own label so you know exactly what you're buying: the line, the roast level, the weight. The roaster's identity is on the label too, as food labeling rules require. Nothing on the bag is a guess.

Where we are right now

Our roasting-partner application is submitted and in manual review. The store opens for orders when approval lands and our setup with the roaster is complete. Until then, everything on this site is a waitlist — no prices, no checkout, no promises we can't keep.
